Every year, over 20 museums in The Hague open their doors to children. For a small fee, they can visit places such as the Mauritshuis, the Gemeentemuseum, and Museon. This is a major undertaking, as Museum Night Kids attracts approximately 5,000 visitors each year. Museum Night Kids utilizes the Avayo ticketing system.
‘We have three main reasons for choosing Avayo,’ states Romy Fortuin from Winkelman and van Hessen, the marketing agency that organizes Museum Night Kids.
‘Firstly, our visitors do not need to create an account but can quickly and easily purchase a ticket. We appreciate this convenience. Secondly, Avayo’s pricing is very competitive. As a marketing agency, we are fully capable of handling the promotion ourselves. Avayo recognizes this and does not impose unnecessary services on us. Lastly, Avayo’s customer service is excellent. I can always call or email and receive prompt assistance.’
The Avayo ticketing system is intuitive. The Museum Night Kids team can operate it swiftly and independently. ‘It’s a straightforward system with no unnecessary complications,’ Romy Fortuin adds. ‘I find it easy to use. And if I ever have a question, Avayo is always available to help.’
For Museum Night Kids, the organization employs wristbands, allowing families with children to avoid waiting in line. For the adult version, Winkelman and van Hessen utilize Avayo’s hand scanners for access control. ‘It’s beneficial that Avayo is proactive. They check in to see if there’s anything more they can do and remind me to reserve the hand scanners. These are delivered well in advance of the event. Such service truly adds value.
